StacyRacing Rules of Conduct:

What follows are the current rules of conduct for participants of StacyRacing.
It is the responsibility of every user to check this page on a regular basis for any revisions in these rules before participating on the site.
By participating at StacyRacing, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions listed below.
Any and all communications on this site (including but not limited to: signatures, avatars, attached and linked images, linked sites and media, and user titles) must be appropriate.

Appropriate content means:

1. No excessive cursing. This includes deliberate or inadvertent manipulation of content to circumvent the censor.

2. No pornography, risqué content is allowed but has a limit (if there's a question, consider what would be found in a PG-13 movie as a good guideline).
This also includes nude shots with strategic placement of obstructions as well as ASCII representations.

3. No malicious content (virus, redirections, pop-ups, etc.) nor links to malicious content.

4. No personal information of members divulged without express permission of the individual in question.

5. No abuse of vb code (including IMG code).

6. No abuse of HTML.

7. No spam.

8. No flaming.

9. Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material.
If the material belongs to someone else, credit the original author.
Do not post material if you do not have permission to distribute it electronically or otherwise.

10. No discussion, allusion to or encouragement of any illegal activity.
Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are also expressly forbidden.

11. No posting messages that violate Federal, State, or Local laws which include, but are not limited to, anything that violates a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or is bound by NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

12. Advertising, buying, selling or trading is only to be done in the For Sale forums.


¤ StacyRacing reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute, or delete any content for any reason without prior notification or explanation to the author.
The staff frequently reviews content for violations of StacyRacing rules. Any content found to be in violation can be deleted without warning or explanation.

¤ StacyRacing and its representatives will not be held liable for the result of the usage of any information provided in the StacyRacing forums, and disclaim all liability resulting in the use of that information.

¤ StacyRacing takes no responsibility for the content of any of the messages posted in the StacyRacing forums or of the authenticity of its authors.
All opinions and views expressed in the StacyRacing forums are solely those of their respective authors and are not necessarily those of StacyRacing or its representatives.

¤ StacyRacing forum members are limited to one account, unless otherwise authorized by a StacyRacing administrator.
Members may not impersonate other individuals, falsely represent themselves, or use other member's accounts for any purpose.

¤ The ultimate authority and arbiter of what actions are or are not appropriate is the staff of StacyRacing.
All users must remain respectful of the site staff and follow their directives without fail.

Three strike Policy:
a. StacyRacing operates a three strike policy.
Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences in a three month period.
If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days.

b. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning.
Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above.

c. Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent.
Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban.

d. An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material.
Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

e. Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them.
While StacyRacing may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.

StacyRacing moderators are happy to answer any of your questions regarding the forums, you may send a Private Message (a.k.a. PM) to any of them with any question you have.

All content posted become the property of StacyRacing.

StacyRacing reserves the right to change the aforementioned rules at any time without warning or notice.
